TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The Tampa Police Department is investigating the deaths of two people after their search for a person of interest took a dark turn.
Officers said they were looking for a person of interest in an unrelated case at a home on the 9400 block of Hunters Pond Drive, located in the Hunter’s Green gated community, at 12:04 p.m.
Lawn care crew finds dead woman in Plant City, deputies say
While at the home, officers saw signs that pointed to a dead person being inside the home.
Upon entry, the officers found a dead man, who was their person of interest, and a dead woman at the scene.

The deaths appear to be related, according to police. The cause of their deaths is under investigation.
