TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A jury found a Tallahassee man guilty as charged Friday of molesting a teenage boy.
The guilty verdict for 41-year-old Terrance Booker came after only 45 minutes of deliberation, prosecutors say.
Booker is accused of assaulting a total of five boys over the past 15 years. This case was the first to go to trial.
Booker served as a youth director at his church and worked at an after-school program at a local elementary school until his arrest in August 2025.

Booker was convicted on charges of lewd and lascivious conduct and sexual battery on a child under 16. The abuse allegedly took place between 2010 and 2015.
During the trial, which began Thursday, the victim took the stand. Everyone except his family was asked to leave the courtroom during his testimony.
Booker was taken into custody after Friday’s guilty verdict to await sentencing. A sentencing date has not yet been set.
Booker faces up to life in prison for this conviction.
The remaining four cases will be tried separately at a later date.
