Port St. Lucie man, 21, arrested on child sex battery charge

{p}A 21-year-old man is behind bars after being accused of lewd and lascivious battery on a child, authorities said Friday. According to the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office, the investigation began July 10 after deputies responded to Lawnwood Regional Medical Center at the request of the Port St. Lucie Police Department, which was assisting the Florida Department of Children and Families. {/p}
