Former Jacksonville High School band director arrested for alleged sexual assault of student

An investigation led by the Jacksonville Police Department has resulted in the arrest of a former High School band director for sexual assault.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — A Former Jacksonville High School band director was arrested on Thursday after an investigation into inappropriate conduct with a student.

Authorities with the Jacksonville Police Department stated that Kendrick Moore of North Little Rock turned himself in on July 23 on a warrant for second-degree sexual assault.

Police said this stemmed from inappropriate conduct with a previous Jacksonville High School Student.

 Officials said Moore was released on his own recognizance by the Jacksonville District Court.
