Ladavion King, 43, is charged with second-degree attempted murder with a firearm, discharging a firearm in public, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, and eluding a law enforcement officer following the shooting, the Florida Highway Patrol said in a news release. The charges were filed in Lee County.

King is accused of killing 47-year-old Tasha Moses, a mother of four and sanitation technician with the city of St. Petersburg, according to a WTSP report. Investigators said King fatally shot her while sitting inside her front-loader work vehicle.
