Friday Night Hits Preview: Evans High School
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. —
Evans High School is led by head coach Karlos Odum.
The Trojans are optimistic following an 8-2 record last season. They are led by University of Maryland commit William Jackson.
“I’m really excited. We have a lot of big guys up front so I just have to go up there on the field and show them what we can do,” Jackson said.
The Trojans have a lot of eyes on them this season but offensive coordinator Grant Alford says they are just staying focused on the task at hand: success in the postseason.
“This year, it’s about putting our best foot forward, locking out all the outside noise, keeping all the inside noise in, and learning how to keep handling that success,” Alford said.
The Trojans open their season against Lake Nona on Aug. 21.
