West Orange High School is coming off an impressive 10-2 season and the Warriors are looking to pick up right where they left off.

“We put the time in, we put the effort in with 7-on-7 and so, I’m sure the kids are going to get very excited with being able to actually put on the pads,” head coach Geno Thompson said.

The Warriors will return a lot of talent at the quarterback and running back positions with multiple Division I offers. They will rely heavily on the offensive line to give them a good push up front.

Geno also mentions how stout the Warriors are on defense.

“It’s great because you see that iron-sharpening-iron everyday practice,” Thompson said.

The Warriors open their season against Apopka High School on Aug. 14.
