Sunday is expected to bring heat and humidity, according to WESH 2’s First Warning Meteorologist Victoria Wisniewski.

Some showers and storms will begin in the early afternoon.

There is about 70% coverage for the Orlando area, with activity looking like it will come in two batches: one by 3 p.m., and another by 6 p.m.

A couple of stronger cells are possible north of Orlando.

Everything is expected to clear out by 9 p.m.

Some lingering storms may be present along the coastline until 10 p.m.

In terms of heat, it will feel an average of 105 degrees in Central Florida, with some locations just below an advisory threshold.
