ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – As high heat continues in Central Florida, local officials have released a list of “cooling locations” across Orange County.
The locations are open year round, though when the heat index reaches 103, the Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority (LYNX) provides free rides to and from these centers.
Orange County Parks and Recreation — Monday – Saturday, 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. (Sunday, 1 – 8 p.m.)

Goldenrod Recreation Center
Magnolia Park Eco Education Center
Meadow Woods Recreation Center (Magic Gym)

Renaissance Senior Center/South Econ Community Park
