TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – As campaign season ramps up ahead of Florida’s primary election, one Tallahassee print shop said candidates’ spending is providing an economic boost for local businesses.
Jeremy Cohen, business development manager for Target Print and Mail, said demand for campaign materials such as yard signs, door hangers, direct mail pieces and bumper stickers has increased as candidates prepare for the primary.
While Target Print and Mail provides many different services, Cohen said campaign season is one of the busiest times for the shop, which works with both local and state candidates.

He said the increased business helps keep employees working while supporting the local economy.
“Doing campaign work keeps our team of 24 people here busy, and I think it’s always important for local candidates to support local,” Cohen said. “We love it when we work with candidates who appreciate that and understand the importance of local businesses as an economic driver.”
With the primary election just weeks away, Cohen said the shop is in a final push to complete campaign orders, with another surge in demand expected ahead of the general election in November.
