TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama women’s basketball will compete in the 2026 WBCA Showcase at the ESPN World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Fla., the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association announced Tuesday.
The Crimson Tide will face Florida A&M at 7 p.m. CT on Thursday, Nov. 19, before playing North Carolina at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 21.
Tickets for the WBCA Showcase are on sale now and start at $25 with upgraded seating options available. Broadcast information will be announced at a later date.
About the Tournament
The showcase includes eight teams, including Alabama, Florida A&M, Florida State, North Carolina, Purdue, Texas Tech, UCF and USF
Alabama will face Florida A&M for the sixth time in series history and first since 2017
The Tide and Tar Heels will meet for the first time since UA defeated UNC, 80-71, in the first round of the 2021 NCAA Tournament
Under first year head coach Pauline Love, the Tide bring in nine newcomers and return four from the squad a year ago
