Streetlight Taco, the award-winning Mexican restaurant from the folks at Tastes Pretty Good Hospitality, will open a new location in Clearwater.
The Michelin Bib Gourmand-recognized concept will move into the ground floor of downtown’s newly restored Peoples Bank Building, located at 432 Cleveland St., according to a press release.
The new location is planning to debut by the end of the year.
“Streetlight Taco brings a vibrant Mexican bodega,” said Nick Reader, CEO of Tastes Pretty Good Hospitality in a statement. “At night, there’s a party atmosphere. That energy is what we hope to bring to Cleveland Street—something that complements everything else that’s happening downtown.”
Streetlight’s original location, at 4004 Henderson Blvd., opened in 2024 and Executive Chef and partner Michael Brannock quickly earned a prestigious Michelin Bib Gourmand award. Obviously tacos are front and center at Streetlight, but the concept is also known for chips and dips, tostadas, burritos, mercado sides, tres leches and more.
Other restaurants under the Tastes Pretty Good umbrella include the Michelin-starred Rocca, Bar Terroir, and the new Spanish concept Lumbre in Tampa’s North Hyde Park area.

Streetlight is now the second concept from Tastes Pretty Good Hospitality to head to downtown Clearwater. Two weeks ago, the company announced the coming of the hotdog-centric Rippers in the restored historic Telephone Building.
This particular section of downtown Clearwater has witnessed a slew of recent revitalization efforts, mostly due to the Cleveland Street Alliance, which is a real estate and redevelopment group partnered with the Church of Scientology.
