An Iranian media outlet with close ties to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps reportedly published a video that appears to encourage the assassination of First Lady Melania Trump.

The video, published by Tasnim News Agency, was titled “Where to Kill Melania?!” and used publicly available information, AI-generated imagery and English subtitles to identify multiple locations the first lady is known to visit in New York City while suggesting violent methods of attacking her, according to the New York Post.

“Melania’s obsession with fashion has become her biggest weakness,” per a translation of the video, which is circulating on social media.

According to reports, the video discusses Melania Trump’s shopping habits, identifies luxury retailers she has been known to visit along Fifth Avenue in Manhattan.

“These places could be suitable for operations by global freedom fighters,” a translation noted.WASHINGTON, DC - JUNE 11: U.S. first lady Melania Trump speaks listens as U.S. Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent speaks during an event at the U.S. Treasury Department on June 11, 2026 in Washington, D.C. The footage reportedly goes on reference Secret Service procedures before proposing hypothetical assassination methods. If she makes purchases online, the video allegedly suggested to “poison the clothes.”

“To contaminate the clothes, you can use the nerve agent VX, an oily, odorless and tasteless liquid that enters the body through skin contact and kills the prey after 2 to 18 hours,” the video allegedly noted.

The video also ends with a direct threat aimed at the Trumps’ son, Barron.

“This is just the beginning. The National News Desk reached out to the White House for a statement about the video and is awaiting a reply.

The U.S. Secret Service has not publicly addressed the specific threats, though Melania Trump and her family receive continuous protective security.

The video surfaced amid the ongoing conflict between the U.S. and Iran, following months of military strikes, sanctions, and repeated threats between the two governments.

President Donald Trump has previously said he believes he is “number one” on Iran’s “kill list” and has warned of severe retaliation if Iran were to carry out an attack against him or his family.
