TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A pedestrian was struck and killed on Veterans Memorial Highway on Tuesday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
FHP said the incident happened around 5:50 p.m.
A vehicle was driving southbound on Veterans Memorial Highway when the pedestrian was walking across the road, FHP said.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead on scene. The driver of the vehicle sustained minor injuries, according to FHP.
FHP said the case is pending further investigation.
