Siddiq discovered his ability to make people laugh while doing time in Texas penitentiaries where, presumably, hecklers weren’t his biggest challenge. Upon release, he began making his name in the comedy clubs of Houston. He also began developing a style of performance that was as much storytelling as stand-up. He’s celebrated for his brutal honesty and thought-provoking material, as well as that ability to draw laughs from even the toughest crowds.
