Florida lottery winner lands $800 million Mega Millions jackpot

A Florida ticket has won last night’s $800 million Mega Millions jackpot, making someone in the Sunshine State a multi-millionaire.

The winning numbers were 34, 48, 49, 59, 70, and a Mega Ball of 12.

The ticket was sold in Wawa located at 4510 State Road 70 East in Bradenton.

The winner will be able to choose between annual payments or a cash option of more than $344 million.

The Mega Millions jackpot will now reset to $50 million ahead of the next drawing on Friday.

Additionally, Wednesday’s Powerball drawing will offer another chance to win big, with an estimated jackpot of $663 million.

The cash value of the Powerball prize is more than $290 million, and the winning numbers will be drawn at 11 p.m.
