Orlando International Airport Rescue Team Training Tonight, Smoke May be Visible

If you see smoke or fire near Orlando International Airport on Wednesday evening, July 29, it’s probably part of a scheduled training exercise.

The airport announced their Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) team will conduct an exercise tonight from 8:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at the ARFF Training Facility. Smoke and flames may be visible during this time.

The exercise will not impact airport operations.

The airport recently revealed north terminal renovation plans as part of their ongoing phased refurbishment project.
