WDWNT was invited to ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World to see Major League Pickleball players practice ahead of their Amway MLP Orlando tournament.
Major League Pickleball Practice
Orlando Squeeze and other MLP teams practiced at the complex’s State Farm Field House. Among the players were Jack Sock of the Orlando Squeeze and New Jersey Five’s Anna Leigh Waters.
Waters, Sock, and other players gave pickleball tips and instructions to media.
It wouldn’t be a day on the court without Lil Squeezy, the Orlando Squeeze mascot. The pickleball-playing orange joined the players for a round.
Minnie and Goofy also stopped by in sporting gear. Goofy struggled a bit with his form, but we were impressed by Minnie’s playing!
The tournament will kick off at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex on Thursday, July 30.
