Early arrivals urged as Jacksonville walk-up food distribution may start by 9:30 a.m.

JACKSONVILLE, Onslow County — Onslow Community Outreach is holding a walk-up food distribution Thursday morning in Jacksonville.

The distribution will take place at 1210 Hargett Street.

Organizers say food will be handed out no later than 10 a.m., but the event may begin closer to 9:30 a.m.

People planning to attend are encouraged to arrive early to get in line and complete registration.

The organization is also asking community members to donate empty boxes for future food distributions.

Onslow Community Outreach thanked the community for its patience and continued support.
