When it was the long-running competition’s grand prize nearly two decades ago, the home was a 3,200-square-foot property valued at $2.2 million at the time. It was won by Iowa couple Stephanie and Tommy Dee. However, the pair chose not to move into the home and opted to accept the cash value as their prize instead.

Since then, the home has changed hands twice: once in 2009, and then again in 2021, when it was sold for $8 million to a buyer who, per the current listing, transformed the property into a “private resort.”
The property now includes three structures: a two-bed and two-bathroom main house, a three-bed and three-bathroom guesthouse, and a one-bed and one-bathroom “media house” that also features a two-car garage. All three buildings look out onto a large backyard with a 100-foot pool and cabana according to Realtor.com.
