This weekend, St. Petersburg College’s historic Palladium Theater kicks off a $13 million renovation that’ll bring new seating, sightlines, and sound to Hough Hall, while adding accessibility improvements and preserving the 100-year-old building’s architectural character (it opened as a church in 1925 and came to life as a venue in 1998).
To send the old lady off in style, Executive Director Paul Wilborn has tapped some of Palladium’s favorite sons and daughters for the send off.
Bassist John Lamb, undisputed jazz legend of St. Pete, is the special guest as Bryan J. Hughes leads his Crew ensemble through a sold-out set of jazz, pop, rock and more.
The Final Set: A Palladium Send-Off, happening Friday, July 31 in St. Petersburg, is sold-out.
