OGDEN, Utah (KLTV) – Athens roper Lightning Aguilera and Jacksonville roper Kaden Profili teamed up for a big month, including prize money of $11,954 at Ogden Pioneer Days Rodeo.
The duo tied for third place in the first round for $3,463 each, tied for seventh in the second round for $782 and first in the overall average for $7,709.
Aguilera and Profili also won $2,000 at Cheyenne Frontier Days, $3,619 at Utah Days of 47 and $2,934 at Deadwood Days of 76.
Aguilera is ranked fifth among headers in the world rankings. Profili is ranked sixth among heelers.

Bareback rider Tilden Hooper of Carthage won $3,800 at Cheyenne and $10,035 at Ogden. Hooper is ranked 22nd in the world.
Steer wrestler Holden Myers of Van won $861 at Deadwood, $105 in Utah and $1,363 at Chief Joseph. Myers is ranked fifth in the world.
Tie-down roper Cutter Carpenter of Athens won $1,750 in Cheyenne.
Barrel racer Abby Phillips of Marshall won $855 at Spanish Fork.
