5 injured in fiery Orange County crash, firefighters say

A crash in an Orange County neighborhood injured five people on Thursday night, according to firefighters.

A spokesperson with Orange County Fire Rescue said the two-car crash happened near Landstar Boulevard and Iowa Woods Circle in the Meadow Woods area.

The department said one of the cars caught fire in the crash and three patients were entrapped before they were rescued.

Five people were injured and taken to the hospital, four as trauma alerts, firefighters said.
