A Florida-based Mexican food chain known for its lively atmosphere will make its Massachusetts debut this weekend.
Rocco’s Tacos & Tequila Bar will open at the Burlington Mall in Burlington on Saturday. The opening will mark the brand’s first Massachusetts location and 12th location nationwide.
Rocco’s Tacos has spots throughout Florida and in New York City. The first Rocco’s opened in 2007 in West Palm Beach.
“Massachusetts has always felt like home to me,” founder Rocco Mangel said in a press release.
“I spent my summers here with my family, and those memories have stayed with me throughout my life,” he said. “Opening our first restaurant here means more than I can put into words. It’s incredibly special to finally bring something we’ve built over the last 19 years to a place that’s been part of my story since I was a kid.”
The Burlington Rocco’s will showcase the chain’s signature design featuring hand-selected fixtures and artisan pieces sourced directly from Mexico. The 5,343-square-foot restaurant will have seating for 200 guests indoors, along with an all-season outdoor patio.
The Burlington location will also continue Rocco’s tradition of serving authentic Mexican cuisine with seasonally refreshed menus, signature margaritas and famous table-side guacamole. Patrons can also take advantage of Rocco’s unbeatable Taco Tuesday, which typically features all-you-can-eat tacos at a fixed price.
Located at 75 Middlesex Turnpike in Burlington, Rocco’s Tacos & Tequila Bar will be open daily from 11 a.m. to midnight, serving lunch, dinner and weekend brunch.
