Award-winning musical “Next to Normal” taking the stage in Central Florida Aug. 6-9
“Next to Normal,” an acclaimed musical tackling mental health, grief, and family, is being performed in Orlando with local and Broadway talent.

The Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical “Next to Normal” is coming to the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in Orlando, Thursday, Aug. 6 through Sunday, Aug. 9.
The show brings an emotional story about mental health, grief, and the strength of family to the stage through a powerful contemporary rock score.
The cast features a mix of Orlando-based professional performers and Resident Artist interns currently pursuing degrees in musical theatre, showcasing both seasoned talent and the next generation of artists.
Tickets are now on sale.
Students, teachers, first responders, and veterans can also take advantage of $25 rush tickets, available in person at the box office beginning two hours before each performance, while supplies last.
