Man arrested in connection with deadly shooting of 17-year-old in Orange County, deputies say
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. —
An Orlando man was arrested in connection with a shooting that left a 17-year-old girl dead on Wednesday, according ot the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded around 4:55 p.m. to a reported shooting in the 5500 block of Old Cheney Highway.
A girl was located and taken to a hospital, where she died. She was identified as Skyler Ley’Shea Bradford.
Jehovah Mitchell, 19, was arrested Thursday for tampering with or fabricating evidence, the OCSO said.
An arrest report for Mitchell said deputies responded to 2500 West Colonial Drive for a death investigation and, while there, took Mitchell into custody.
