ONSLOW COUNTY, N.C. — A 79-year-old Jacksonville man is facing a felony charge after authorities say he failed to report a change of address as required by North Carolina’s sex offender registration laws.
Arnold Lewis Delamar was arrested July 30 by the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office and charged with felony failure to register as a sex offender.
According to court documents, Delamar was required to notify the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office of an address change but failed to do so. The alleged offense occurred July 29.
Court records show Delamar’s bond was amended July 31 and set at $50,000 unsecured.
