NHL Network released its annual ranking of the top wingers in the game and, not surprisingly, the Florida Panthers landed a couple on the list.
Three, to be precise.
Of the top 20 wings in the NHL, the Panthers had three on the list — tied with the rival Tampa Bay Lightning for most.
Only two other teams, the Dallas Stars and Minnesota Wild, had multiple players on the list.
Matthew Tkachuk heads the Panthers on the list and was the lone Florida player to crack the Top 10 by coming in at No. 8.
Sam Reinhart was next, coming in at No. 14 with the newly acquired Brady Tkachuk coming in at No. 18.
Tampa Bay’s Nikita Kucherov headed the list, with Boston’s David Pastrnak and Minnesota’s Karill Kaprisov rounding out the top 3.
Of the 20 players ranked, 10 play in the ultra-competitive Atlantic Division.
