ORLANDO, Fla. —

Most students in Central Florida will return to classrooms next week, and families are preparing with last-minute tips, helpful events, and ways to make the first day stress-free.

Eryn Vargo, the owner of Orlando Mom Collective, joined WESH 2 to highlight several back-to-school events families should keep on their radar, including meet-the-teacher sessions, back-to-school well-child visits, and giveaways.

Vargo shared a checklist to help parents stay organized the night before. She also offered her top tips for a smooth morning on the first day of school, emphasizing preparation and planning ahead.

To help ease first-day jitters and add a celebratory touch to the occasion, Vargo suggests using printable and downloadable first-day-of-school signs.
