TAMPA, Fla. (WWSB) – Tampa Police had a busy weekend contending with drivers they say should have never been behind the wheel.
In a social media post, the department shared video of three separate incidents of drivers crashing into patrol cruisers and driving the wrong way on one-way streets.
“In one incident, a driver fell asleep behind the wheel. In another, an impaired driver traveled the wrong way through a neighborhood. Both crashes ended with our officers’ vehicles being struck,” the post said.
No one was injured in any of the crashes, police said.
