Monday will be mainly dry before scattered to numerous showers and lightning storms develop in the afternoon.
There is a marginal risk of excessive rainfall across all of east Central Florida, according to NWS Melbourne.
Rain chances are at 50 percent, mainly after 1 p.m. and while most areas will see less than an inch of rain, localized areas could see two to four inches where heavy rains persist.
A few gusty storms with winds up to 50 mph and locally heavy rain are expected to accompany the stronger storms, especially along the coast.
Temperatures will be in the high 80s to low 90s.
