TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A Tallahassee postal worker has been indicted on mail theft charges after she allegedly pocketed cash from a greeting card.
NaPeaches Blair, 43, was indicted by a federal grand jury for two counts of theft of mail by a postal employee, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

According to arrest documents, Blair was suspected of using a gift card stolen from the mail. As part of an investigation, an undercover law enforcement officer handed her a sealed envelope containing a greeting card with $1,000 cash inside.
She allegedly later opened the envelope, took the money out of the card and put the envelope in the outgoing mail basket, according to arrest papers.

Blair faces a maximum of five years in prison on each count.
