Foxtail Coffee Co. opened its newest Southwest Florida café on Wednesday, Aug. 5, at Latimer Crossing, becoming one of the first commercial businesses to welcome guests within the Southwest Florida Housing Foundation’s new mixed-income community on Cleveland Avenue.
Located at 3605 Cleveland Avenue, across from the Fort Myers Country Club, the 1,745-square-foot café is the fourth Southwest Florida Foxtail Coffee Co. location owned and operated by Diana and Scott Willis, longtime local business owners who also own and operate Jason’s Deli restaurants throughout Lee County and Naples. The shop is also the 120th location for Foxtail Coffee Co.
Known throughout Southwest Florida for their commitment to community involvement, the Willis family has spent decades supporting local schools, nonprofit organizations and charitable initiatives while creating welcoming places where neighbors can gather. Their newest Foxtail Coffee location continues that commitment, offering a comfortable destination where residents, professionals, students and visitors enjoy craft coffee, work remotely, meet with friends or simply spend time together.
Adding to the experience, the café features a Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream counter serving the Orlando-based and Florida’s favorite creamery’s signature flavors along with rotating monthly selections, creating a destination for everything from a morning coffee run to an after-dinner treat.
“From the beginning, we believed this could become more than a coffee shop,” said Diana Willis. “Latimer Crossing is bringing new energy to this part of Fort Myers, and we’re excited to create a place where neighbors can gather, students can study, professionals can work and families can enjoy time together.”
Latimer Crossing represents a significant milestone in the revitalization of the Cleveland Avenue corridor. Developed by the Southwest Florida Housing Foundation, the 92-unit mixed-income community combines market-rate, workforce and affordable housing while transforming a property that sat vacant for more than a decade into a vibrant neighborhood.
As one of the first businesses to open at Latimer Crossing, Foxtail Coffee Co. will help establish the development as a destination where people can live, work, meet and connect. Its location along one of Fort Myers’ busiest corridors offers convenient access for neighborhood residents, nearby businesses, commuters and visitors.

“We’ve always believed the best businesses become part of the fabric of the community,” said Scott Willis. “That’s how we’ve approached our Jason’s Deli restaurants, and it’s exactly how we plan to build Foxtail Coffee at Latimer Crossing. We want people to feel like this is their neighborhood coffee shop.”
Foxtail Coffee Co. has earned a loyal following for its small-batch roasted coffee, handcrafted espresso beverages and thoughtfully designed cafés that encourage guests to slow down and enjoy the experience.
The new location will feature Foxtail’s complete menu of espresso drinks, cold brews, signature lattes, seasonal beverages and organic teas, along with breakfast sandwiches, fresh bagels, pressed paninis and an assortment of baked goods. Guests can also purchase whole-bean coffee, branded merchandise and gift items.
Comfortable seating, complimentary Wi-Fi and inviting workspaces make the café equally suited for business meetings, remote work, study sessions or relaxing with friends over coffee or ice cream.
“Our hope is that Foxtail becomes part of people’s daily routine,” Diana added. “Whether someone stops in before work, meets a friend for coffee, brings the family in for ice cream or spends the afternoon working remotely, we want everyone who walks through our doors to feel welcome.”
