Deputies responded to a home in Miami-Dade on Tuesday night after receiving multiple calls about a person livestreaming themselves self-harming on social media.

Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office vehicles and a Miami-Dade Fire Rescue truck were spotted outside the home in the corner of Southwest 31st Street and 77th Court in the Westchester neighborhood.

MDSO said it “received multiple calls regarding an individual who was livestreaming acts of self-harm on social media.” The person was alone inside the home, deputies said.

Neighbors told NBC6 that the person is celebrity entertainment blogger Perez Hilton. The sheriff’s office has not confirmed that information to NBC6.

Video captures what appears to be the man inside the home, naked and possibly bloody.

Deputies said they were de-escalating the situation and using crisis intervention techniques.

Paramedics were later spotted wheeling someone into an ambulance.

“We are aware of the concerning content circulating online involving our client, Perez Hilton,” Hilton’s agents, Dante Rusciolelli and Rebekah Kochan, said in a statement. “At this time, we have not been able to make direct contact with him, despite our ongoing efforts to reach him. Our primary concern is Perez’s health and well being, as well as the well being of his family. Until we have confirmed information, we will not speculate or comment further. We appreciate everyone’s concern and ask that his privacy be respected during this time.”

This is a developing story.
