TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Deputies conducting a traffic stop in Tampa found that a Canadian woman who falsely identified herself had 12 fraudulent ID cards, according to authorities.
Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister posted body camera video from July 29, showing the moment deputies stopped a vehicle on West Hillsborough Avenue after noticing its taillights and tag lights were out.
The driver, Bryce Swanson, 28, identified herself as Brianna Valenzuela, according to video.

A deputy asked Swanson for an ID, but she said she did not have a license with her because she was meeting her boyfriend, who was reportedly renting the vehicle.
Swanson later told deputies that she had never possessed a valid driver’s license, according to video.
Chronister said a search of her vehicle revealed 12 driver’s licenses with pictures of her on them but different names and dates of birth.

Deputies said Swanson is from Canada and overstayed her visa.
Swanson was booked into the Orient Road Jail and charged with not having a valid driver’s license and giving a false name to a law enforcement officer. She is being held without bond due to an Immigration Customs Enforcement hold, according to jail records.
