A person was struck by a SunRail train around 4:10 p.m. Wednesday in Winter Park, police said.
The person, who was not identified, was deceased when Winter Park Police Department officers arrived. The department did not say if the person was male or female.
“This is an active investigation and there is no additional information at this time,” the department said in a release.
SunRail, the region’s commuter rail, runs for about 60 miles from Volusia County to Osceola County, making stops in Seminole and Orange counties, including at the train station in Winter Park.
