WELLEN PARK — Power Partners Network, a new networking group, is taking off in the region.
Tiffany Manna, a local insurance worker who is heavily involved in the community started the business.
Power Partners is a vetted network where local service businesses trade referrals and grow together.
Power Partners will have groups in Wellen Park, Charlotte County, Sarasota and Lakewood Ranch, according to Manna.
On Wednesday, about two-dozen people attended a Power Partners meeting in Wellen Park.
Phil Stokes, who represents Wellen Park on the North Port City Commission, was there along with various representatives from local businesses. People from bankers, to auto repair professionals, to pest control and medical experts and more attended.
Each person went around the room and talked about who they are and what company they are with. Attendees also mingled with one another exchanging cards and information.
Christina Rappisi, from B&B Elite Home Services, gave a presentation at the meeting and talked about who she was and what her business does.
Her businesses’ goal is to help homeowners and businesses ensure their properties look their best.
Rappisi also shared her contact information during her presentation for anyone interested in connecting with her.
Manna said the meeting in Wellen Park is how Power Partner meetings will generally go.
Groups will meet bi-monthly, according to Manna.
Wellen Park meets the first and third Wednesdays of every month; Charlotte County meets the second and fourth Wednesdays; and Sarasota meets the first and third Thursdays.
The network costs $600 per year to be part of, or $175 per quarter.
