Universal Studios Florida is full of food booths and trucks for Halloween Horror Nights 35, which begins on August 28. This year is anchored by Jack the Clown and Dr. Oddfellow, returning icons from previous HHN events.
One of the Downtown Clowntown platforms added a few days ago has additional decorations. Green arched elements are now on the front of the cage. A new marquee reads “Midway of the Bizarre” and features three clowns.
The Downtown Clowntown scare zone is in the New York area of the park. It will feature Art the Clown and Killer Klowns From Outer Space.
Though not technically a scare zone, Death Eaters will roam The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Diagon Alley. A stage with crate and barrel props is set up for the performers behind Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes.
The Club Horror street experience returns to San Francisco. In the past few days, Club Horror wraps have been added to the DJ stage and performer platforms.
Jack-o’-lanterns hang on trusses above each platform.
Between haunted houses, Halloween Horror Nights guests can enjoy themed food at booths and trucks. A Hellraiser-themed truck is parked outside Springfield, U.S.A. in front of Doc Brown’s time-traveling train.
There are multiple Fanta-branded booths, located in World Expo near Men in Black: Alien Attack, across from the Beat Builders set in New York, and next to the Universal Music Plaza.
The blood-splattered Edgar Schmidt’s Draft Wagon is between World Expo and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Eddie Schmidt is an infamous HHN icon who was supposed to lead Halloween Horror Nights XI but had his debut canceled due to the 9/11 terrorist attacks. He’s since appeared in other HHN houses and experiences. According to his backstory, he’s Jack the Clown’s brother.
Several booths are lined up around Gramercy Park. This one features a silhouette and a target.
Likely inspired by the Ozzy Osbourne: Prince of Darkness house, this booth has a flaming facade with a devil face.
A pair of booths are inspired by Jack and Oddfellow. This one resembles stacks of crates and is named Jack’s Circus Surplus.
A carnival wagon is Oddfellow’s Menagerie. Jack and Oddfellow will star in the house Jack & Oddfellow: Chaos & Control and the scare zone Infernal Carnival of Nightmares.
The Transformers: The Ride extended queue is now home to Creepy Concoctions & Frozen Beverages.
The bar is decked out with orange and green signage.
Creepy Concoctions offers frozen slushies with and without alcohol, liqueur, beer, wine, and soft drinks.
Other food booths include the Stranger Things-inspired WSQK and Meetz Meats.
