• Although there are certainly good arguments on both sides, I find that too many people don’t have the skill set to back in between two parked cars, as I witnessed yet again today. Pulling in between two parked cars is much easier than backing in and when you back out, you have a drive aisle that’s 24 feet wide to maneuver in.

• They say you can’t tell the player without a scorecard. I am ticked off that local TV stations are rotating their field reporters in and out faster than a politician changes his mind. Where did they come from and where did they go? How can a journalist get grip on a community when they’re hired and then flee, get fired, or become the victim of a space alien abduction?

• I am very ticked off at someone putting a bag of dog poo in my freshly cleaned trash can. I am a senior citizen with no animals and I keep my trash can clean and as free from odor as possible.  My trash can has been sitting at the curb for a week waiting for repairs from the city, not for you to take advantage of because you’re too lazy to carry it home. If you have a pet, be responsible!

The flip side

• I wanted to send huge congrats to the Orange County School Board for recently approving restrictions to not allow dangerous e-bikes on school property. Their courage to make this hot-topic decision will save the lives of hundreds of school-age children every year.
