Universal Orlando says it will spread more holiday cheer within its Epic Universe theme park into the Super Nintendo World and How to Train Your Dragon — Isle of Berk areas this year.

The resort’s festivities kick off Nov. 14 and run through Jan. 3.

Last year, which marked the first holiday season for Epic Universe, merry decor was concentrated in its Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic and Celestial Park sections.  This will leave the park’s Dark Universe land, which features Universal classic monsters such as Frankenstein, Dracula and the Invisible Man, as the holiday holdout. Details about the looks for Super Nintendo World, which has a videogame vibe, and Isle of Berk, which is heavy on viking and dragons, were not announced.

Universal also confirmed the return of several holiday mainstays at the parks, including Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s at Universal Studios Florida, as well as Grinchmas (including the “Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular” stage show and “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle” projection show at Islands of Adventure.

These holiday activities are included with regular admission to the theme parks.

At Universal CityWalk, a seasonal overlay on the second level will again result in the Green and Red Coconut Club with live entertainment and themed cocktails.

At Walt Disney World, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party begins at Magic Kingdom on select evenings between Nov. 8 and Dec. 22. The Epcot International Festival of the Holidays (and Candlelight Processional) is held Nov. 27 through Dec. 30.  The SeaWorld Christmas Celebration is scheduled for select dates between Nov. 6 and Jan. 4.  Holidays at Legoland Florida are celebrated on select days between Nov. 21 and Jan. 3.
