Wet, muggy day ahead in Central Florida

Rain and storms are expected to persist throughout the day, starting with coastal showers Friday morning and continuing inland into the evening.
Today’s weather includes an early start to the rain, with coastal rain showers already observed this morning. Showers and storms are expected to move inland around lunchtime, followed by multiple rounds of rain and storms into the evening.

A weak disturbance near the Bahamas is causing today’s rain and will also lead to high rip currents and rough boating conditions, making it an unfavorable day to be in the water.
Tomorrow is expected to be another wet and muggy day with high rain coverage.
Sunday will bring drier conditions, followed by even drier air for the start of the school week, though temperatures will be extremely hot.
