PALM CITY — Harold Webb, who will be entering the 10th grade this fall at Martin County High School, recently spent one month at the Extreme Military Challenge at Camp Liberty in Cullman, Alabama.
During the program, Webb successfully completed both the Cadet Basic Training Course and the Cadet Field Leadership Course.
Throughout the month, he was challenged both mentally and physically while developing leadership, discipline, teamwork, and resilience alongside cadets from across the country. The experience strengthened his desire to continue pursuing military leadership opportunities.
A highlight of the graduation ceremony was hearing the keynote address from Lieutenant General R. Scott Dingle, the 45th Surgeon General of the United States Army and former Commanding General of the U.S. Army Medical Command. Harold had the privilege of meeting Lieutenant General Dingle personally, making the experience even more memorable.
Webb described the program as one of the most rewarding experiences of his life and is already planning to return next summer to complete the Cadet Ranger Course and the Advanced Field Leadership Course.
This Martin County student continues to represent our community through leadership, perseverance, and service.
