PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (KLTV) – Former Spring Hill Panther Hunter Hollan threw two shutout innings to polish off Daytona Beach’s 17-3 win over Port St. Lucie Thursday.
The 24-year-old left-hander gave up one walk while striking out one. Through 17 1/3 innings, Hollan (1-0) has 16 strikeouts and a 3.63 ERA.
Daytona Beach (45-58) is in fourth place in its division. The Tortugas continue the series in St. Lucie Friday at 5:10 p.m.
