STUART, Fla. (CBS12) — A woman was hospitalized with traumatic injuries after a two-vehicle crash ended with her car crashing into a gun shop on Thursday.
According to Martin County Fire Rescue, crews responded at about 4:12 p.m. to the crash at Pirate Firearms, located at 2201 S.E. Indian St. in Stuart.

Surveillance video from Pirate Firearms shows a silver sedan with heavy damage to the driver’s side traveling through the store’s parking lot before crashing into a pillar. The video then shows a man in the passenger seat getting out of the vehicle and running to check on the driver.

Martin County Fire Rescue said the building did not sustain structural damage, but the storefront suffered cosmetic damage.
As of this writing, it is unclear what led to the crash.
