The Cape Coral Fire Department and Cape Coral Animal Shelter have teamed up to create a “Rescue Meets Rescue” calendar featuring firefighters and adoptable pets.
“Partnering with the Cape Coral Animal Shelter in this fun and meaningful way allows us to highlight not only the dedicated men and women who serve our city, but also the animals who bring so much love and joy to our lives,” said Fire Chief Mike Russell.
Calendars are available for a $20 donation at ccfdfoundation.org, the Cape Coral Animal Shelter, or CCFD Fire Headquarters. They will also be sold on November 15 during the CCFD Open House and at the CCAS Yard Sale at Wicked Dolphin Distillery.
“We love the ‘rescue meets rescue’ spirit of this project,” said Liz McCauley, Executive Director of the Cape Coral Animal Shelter.
Proceeds will benefit the CCFD Community Foundation and the Cape Coral Animal Shelter’s rescue efforts.
