RUSK, Texas (KLTV) – A Jacksonville man facing life in prison for a teenager’s death in 2024 has accepted an eight-year prison sentence on a lesser charge.
Isiah Mallord, 23, pleaded to a charge of manslaughter on Monday before his jury selection began. He received 905 days of credit toward his sentence for time served.
