The RAYS (-160) are worth playing lightly as moderate favorites in this series opener, as Tampa Bay looks to stay red-hot on the road. Again, it has won each of the first 6 games on the trip, while going 9-1 in the past 10 outings away from home.
The A’s +1.5 (-120) are a decent play if you can’t take them straight up, and you need a little insurance.
Tampa Bay has been red-hot, but Peralta was shaky in his team debut. The small dimensions are Sutter Health Park can turn leads into deficit in a hurry, so no lead is safe.
UNDER 10 (-115) is a solid play despite the penchant for games to go high in Sacramento.
