WHITEHALL, N.Y. (WRGB) — A man wanted out of a Florida community has been arrested in Washington County.

Investigators say Jabe Rockwell, 29, was wanted on charges of aggravated abuse of a disabled person and battery out of Citrus County, Florida. They say Rockwell was charged as a fugitive of justice.

He was arrested in the Village of Whitehall July 31, where authorities said he had been staying.

He was sent to the Washington County Jail, pending extradition to Florida.
