MIAMI (Gray News) – A former OnlyFans model accepted a plea deal Monday in connection with the April 2022 stabbing death of her boyfriend.
CBS Miami reported that Courtney Clenney, 30, accepted the plea deal inside a Miami courtroom, which included a guilty plea to manslaughter with a deadly weapon.
She had previously been charged with second-degree murder.

Clenney was sentenced to six years in prison followed by five years of probation.
Clenney has been in custody since her August 2022 arrest in Hawaii, and she will get credit for time served. Therefore, she will only spend about another two years behind bars.
Clenney stabbed Christian Obumseli to death inside their Miami condo. She said it was in self-defense because he abused her. She also said she threw the knife at Obumseli, but prosecutors said due to the extent of Obumseli’s injuries, Clenney’s claim is “inconsistent with common sense.”
“There’s no way that you would, if you throw a knife, that the knife is going to land so deep in a downward position,” attorney Larry Handfield told CBS Miami.
WPLG reported that prosecutors argued Clenney was the abusive one in the relationship. Videos were played inside the courtroom that showed Clenney hitting Obumseli on at least two occasions.
In addition to her prison sentence and probation, Clenney is not allowed to financially benefit from the case. Upon her release, she will also be required to undergo mental health and substance abuse evaluations and complete any recommended treatment.
