Impact Weather: Heat advisories issued across Central Florida as heat index reaches triple digits
Central Florida is facing extreme heat on Tuesday as feels-like temperatures jump into the triple digits.
Heat advisories have been issued across the region.
Surface moisture is driving feels-like temperatures above 108 degrees, which is why WESH 2’s First Warning Weather team has issued an Impact Weather warning from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The heat index will range between 106 and 111 degrees.
Other than the heat, the day is expected to be slightly drier than average, with a 30% chance of rain.
